[Walking down the hall, minding my own business]
[Random Guy comes up]
Random Guy: Hey! Hey! How old are you?
Me [slightly bewildered]: Twenty..
Random Guy: did you grow up watching Punky Brewster or something?
Me: Yes!
Random Guy: Is that why you always wear that bandanna tied on your leg?
Me [now cracking up]: Yeah. Yes that is exactly why!

And the kicker is: I’m wearing shorts today. No jeans. No bandanna. This guy has probably been stalking me for weeks, wondering and wondering if i’m a Punky Brewster fan. He probably figured he’d better hurry up and freaking ask since you know it’s finals week. Haha..

[Edit: It has been decided that this is the perfect pickup line. Chat-up line. I like that phrase better. "Hello, did you grow up watching Punky Brewster?" Hahahhahaha. It's as good as, "Hi, did you know it's Elvis Presley's birthday?" That one would work too.]
